Hello my name is Sinem and I am a Clinical Psychologist offering remote/online therapy. I completed my doctoral training at The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London and have also undertaken postgraduate training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and am a BABCP accredited CBT therapist. I offer remote therapy online.
I have over 10 years experience of working within the NHS in a variety of settings including adult and child mental health services, health psychology and neuropsychological services (assessment and rehabilitation).
I am also fluent in Swedish.
My main specialism involves delivering evidence-based cognitive behaviour therapy to a range of difficulties including depression, general anxiety, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress, OCD, panic, health anxiety and phobias including emetophobia. In addition to CBT, I use compassion focused therapy to help people develop a kinder approach to their difficulties.
I am passionate about helping people understand what is keeping their difficulties going, learning skills to overcome them and to live a life that is meaningful to them. I believe that working together and forming a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to gaining positive outcomes and reaching therapy goals. I am friendly, warm and laid back and endevaour to help my clients feel supported throughout their therapy journey.

Research
My research interest has mainly focused on aspects related to improving access to psychological therapy services. Furthermore my doctoral thesis looked at the impact of activity levels and stigma in a group of young people with unusual experiences.
